Scaling Up and Making an Impact

Every entrepreneur dreams of scaling up their business and eventually making it run without them. However, it’s not a walk in the park.

There are some challenges and risks that come with scaling up a business. But if you’re like these entrepreneurs who want to bet on themselves and acknowledge the power of scaling, then your goals could possibly be within just an arm’s reach.

Here are some of the scaling-up strategies that you can pick up from a couple of entrepreneurs I interviewed during the LevelUp Summit.

“I was wearing all the hats, and I want to grow, but I still want to be able to serve my guests. So how do I do that without hiring a huge team? 24/7 365 AI.”

“Outsourcing more of our things and focusing on that 80/20 things that I’m good at, you know. I say this, this is a Ferrari, and I’m a Ferrari driver. I need a Ferrari mechanic. Yeah, it’s okay to learn it, but not do it. So implementing more people.”

“I’m getting some more clients. I’m not doing anything crazy. But even if I just stick with that, it’s gonna snowball. And then I’d love to pour gas on the whole system with paid traffic and stuff.” 

“We can’t do it all ourselves. We’re good at certain things; we may be good at a lot of things, or we may learn things that we become good at. But if we think we can do the whole business on our own, it’s impossible. So the key is to hire really and outsource and find the people that are good at what they do.”

In some instances, scaling up could also mean making a bigger and more lasting impact on other people’s lives. 

Although there’s nothing wrong with aiming for 6, 7, or 8 figures, money can only take you so far. And nothing comes as fulfilling as being able to help others the best way you can.

Here’s what these entrepreneurs have to say about making a lasting impact in their communities.

“I just want to impact people’s lives. I want to be a part of people’s success. I’ve been through a lot of trial and error in my businesses. And so I’m hoping to help eliminate that trial and error for people that are going into my industry so that they’re not having to experience that.”

“That’s why I’m here to help maximize myself some more and provide more value to them.”

“If I help enough people get what they want out of life, it’ll just naturally flow my way as well. As [Zig Ziglar] used to say, You get to help others get what they want, they’ll get what I want.

“And so, like, “the why” really is you’ll have that flexibility to serve more people’s work capacity.  And you can only do that if you’re no longer in the slog day-to-day of just [trying to breathe for air and pay the bills.] Yeah, so you got to be able to do that you have to serve others.”
